General Sales Conditions

General Note

All quotations by JA Redden Pte Ltd shall be in accordance to our Standard Terms and Conditions of Sale stated here, unless otherwise specifically discussed and mutually agreed.

Effective Contract Date

Effective contract date will be counted from date of receipt by JA Redden of all the followings:

• Signed Purchase Order
• Advanced Payment
• Clear Letter of Credit at sight
• Approval on technical submittal & final shop drawings

Acceptance of Delivery

If the Buyer fails to accept delivery at the delivery time, he shall nevertheless pay the equipment’s purchase price which becomes due on delivery, as if delivery had taken place. JA Redden shall arrange for storage of the goods at the risk and expense of the Buyer. JA Redden shall also, if the Buyer so requires, insure the goods at the Buyer’s expense.

Technical Data

Our performance and technical data are as indicated in this offer. If any changes are requested after acceptance of this offer, any such change may be subject to JA Redden requesting an amicable change in the contract price and lead time.

Cancellation Charges

Our performance and technical data are as indicated in this offer. If any changes are requested after acceptance of this offer, any such change may be subject to JA Redden requesting an amicable change in the contract price and lead time.

Liquidated Damages

In cases where liquidated damages clause has been agreed in official writing prior to order confirmation, it shall be limited to 0.5% per week of undelivered parts, up to a maximum of 10% of the item price stated in the contract.

Consequential Damages

Under no circumstances JA Redden is liable for loss of production, loss of use, loss of revenue, cost of capital, cost connected with interruption of operation or any other special, indirect or consequential losses or damages.

Taxes & Duties For Goods And Service

Our prices exclude GST or any other taxes & duties if shipped to other country. If any such taxes, duties or dues of whatever nature are levied on JA Redden Pte Ltd as a consequence of the contract, they must be reimbursed to us in full by the Buyer.

Warranty

JA Redden Pte Ltd guarantees to make good (repair or replace) any defect or damage to our equipment(s) supplied under the contract, which arises from defective materials or poor workmanship only and which appears or occurs within eighteen (18) months from the date of ex-works delivery, or twelve (12) months from date of commissioning whichever is earlier.

However, this guarantee is valid only under the condition that any assembly works (for equipment that are delivered in knocked-down parts) are supervised by our factory specialist or by personnel approved in writing by us. JA Redden is not responsible for any damage caused by force majeure incidents, accidents, or other happenings that are beyond our control, including improper treatment or maintenance of the equipment not done by JA Redden’s personnel.

For any repair under JA Redden warranty, the goods must be put on the ground level at the Buyer’s own cost and expense. Replacement goods will be delivered at ex-works only.
